How does the AI search engine work?
You ask a question, and Chaarlie sends that question — together with up-to-date web context — to multiple AI models at once. The answers are shown in clear cards so you can compare them.
Are the AI answers always correct?
No. AI models can make mistakes, hallucinate information, or use outdated data. Always verify important information yourself, especially for medical, legal, or financial topics.
Why do I see ads?
Chaarlie is free to use. Ads via Google AdSense help us cover the costs of AI models and hosting. Pro users don't see ads.
What data is processed?

Which AI models does Chaarlie use?
Chaarlie consults a range of AI models — including models from Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and others — and sends your question to several at the same time. Each model answers independently based on the same web context, so you can compare their perspectives.
Can I use Chaarlie as my default search engine?
Yes. Chaarlie supports OpenSearch, so you can add it as a search engine in your browser. On mobile, you can also install the site as a progressive web app for quick access from your home screen.
What is the difference between the free and Pro plan?
The free plan gives you full access to multi-model AI search with ads. Pro removes all ads, loads more AI answers per search, and supports faster follow-up questions. Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription.
How do I know which AI answer to trust?
When multiple models agree on a core fact, you can be more confident it is accurate. When they disagree, the question is nuanced and worth verifying against primary sources. You can read our guide on comparing AI models in the Learn section for a deeper explanation.

Yes. Chaarlie is fully responsive and works in any modern mobile browser. You can also install it as a web app on your home screen for a faster, app-like experience.
